Like many other 'about me' pages, I could start off in third person here, but it always feels a little odd writing that way. So, I guess I'll begin with this: my name is Alice Anderson, and I'm the face behind the name CuriousHerring.

For as long as I can remember, photography has been a huge part of my life; and for the past six years it has also been my livelihood. It allows me to escape from everyday life whilst being able to capture someone else's story. As children we are encouraged to live in our imagination, and that's exactly what photography allows me to do as an adult. Because it's important that we don't lose sight of the magic found in even the smallest of things.
